2024 Hikaru, Sparkling Rosé Wine Blend

Hikaru represents our new line of Di Arie wines especially designed to be paired with sushi. These wines are carefully crafted to reflect the pureness of the fish guided by the principles of balance, harmony and attention to details.

Hikaru means "to shine" in Japanese. I created Hikaru to hold sushi in the limelight and enhance the pleasure of eating sushi. My daughter Sivan and I embarked on this project together because we share a deep passion for sushi. Almost every time we go out to dinner together, we have sushi and it's always a special experience.

What sets Hikaru apart is its acidity, aromatic intensity and fruity flavors, which are complementary to the flavor profile of sushi.

Rich aromas of strawberry and orange zest complemented notes of stone fruit, watermelon and yeasty notes nuances conjure an unusually intense umami character to this wine. The fruitful finish is fresh with subtle tasteful bubbles making this beverage exceptionally bright. An ideal companion to sushi, tempura, and robata
