Pick-up — C.G.Di Arie Winery encourages club members to pick up their wines within 6 months of release date.

Shipping — Adult 21 years or older must be available to sign upon delivery. It is the club member's responsibility to notify the winery if you will not be available to receive your shipment. Returned shipments will incur additional fees. We do not ship to PO boxes. We ship to the following states:
AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IA, MD, MI, MO, NH, NV, NY, NC, OH, OR, TX, VA, WA, WI, WY.

Winemakers Notes:

We created MIXED BREED as a tribute to a community that shelters needy animals. Their essence of community matches our passion for great wine.

Rose wines for the most part are made from red grapes by allowing the skins to stay in contact with the juice until a desired color is obtained. The pink color can range from a pale orange to a near purple depending on the style of the wine, the varieties used and the skin contact time. I prefer to make Rose wines that have more dense colors.

This delicious Rose has structure, complexity and balance. Expect flavors of apricot and pineapple with a crisp and clean lingering finish. It is a perfect wine to enjoy solo or paired with cheeses and appetizers.

I was blown away by this find at a local European-style market in Sacramento (Taylor's). My new favorite rose - I was attracted initially by the rich hue, and the merchant's wine guy recommended it. I don't expect structure and depth like this from rosés ordinarily, so now I am spoiled...
